I've got a big problem with time, and there not really being enough of it. Which is a slightly odd statement, since time isn't quantitatively tangible. I cannot increase the amount of time I have in an hour. I can't buy a box of extra time, or borrow time from someone else. My battle with time will continue.

I was rather excited, and depressed, and somewhat vindicated, about reading that my unresearched, common-sense theory is finally being explored by scientists. I've had this theory about time travel for about four years. I've been boring my friends rigid with it. It is the cornerstone of a science fiction TV series I'm writing (2198), where one of the characters goes back in time and tries to use the opportunity to right some of the wrongs that happened when he was young. It is only after a couple of years that he realises the truth that if he is aware of the future, then all probability vanishes, and anything that he knows to have happened will happen, and that the universe conspires to make sure that you can't create paradoxes.

*warm glow of slight pride*

Tomorrow I'm off to Spain for a week - so the blog will go quiet. You could try to keep it buzzing, by leaving me comments, having conversations on your own, that kind of thing. And if you're visiting from Blog Explosion, HELLO!! Leave a comment and say Hi! I'll try to reply to them all.

This weeks theme was fishnets - if it wasn't obvious. I hope that you've liked them, and that no-one was offended. No offence was intended, but only a few people have commented (thank you Laura :) ) I don't know - I just think they're cool and sexy, and if there is something my blog lacks it's those things. Next week will obviously be quiet, but the week after I'll be looking for another image theme. I'll probably make it Spain - but the week after is anyone's guess. Any suggestions?

(or maybe I should continue with the cool and sexy theme... ;) )

In other news, I've been asked by the Mayoress of Blog City if I would accept a new post here at Blog City as Director of Civil Service, and I'm delighted to have accepted! We're still ironing out areas of responsibility, but basically it means I can help out the denizens of BC in a more official capacity, and I'll be working with a team of voluntary Civil Servants to provide support to all Blog City folk, aiming to expand upon the channels of communication between the administration and the population. I'm also looking for a Deputy Director, more details to follow when I get back from Spain.

Until then - have a great week. I'm sorry I've been bad at dropping by to other blogs - time has been... well you know where I stand with regards to time. I'll make sure to pop round once I'm back.
